Today, it will be partly cloudy with an increasing chance of rain later today. The rain is 

associated with the tropical wave approaching from the east. 

Winds will be moderate and variable ranging in strength from 10 to 15 mph. Waves 

will be 1 to 4 feet in height. Winds and seas may increase later today. 

Hurricane Paula is near Cozumel. It is expected to turn to the east sometime 

tomorrow and dissipate over Cuba.

A cold front entered the Gulf of Mexico early this morning.

No other tropical storm formation is expected in the next 24 hours.

The air temperatures will be in the high 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).

At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 85F to 87F or 29C to 30C. Surface 

temperatures are lower and vary greatly due to the heavy rainfall which occurred recently.
