Skies will be mostly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Seas will be 2 to 4 feet in height or higher. Winds will be ESE to ENE in direction at 15 to 25 mph.
A cold front will enter the NW Gulf of Mexico today and weaken. Another cold front is forecast to enter the Gulf on Wednesday and reach the Bay of Campeche by Thursday. ( See Figs. 3 through 5 ) Expect strong easterly trade winds and rough seas to continue most of this week.
