Today, skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be E to NE at 10 to 15 mph. The seas will be choppy, 2 to 4 feet in height. There is a possibility of scattered showers.

This morning, a weak cold front extends from SE Louisiana to Brownsville, Texas. It is forecast to move east out of the Gulf of Mexico by Wednesday night. The easterly trade winds will strengthen later this week, with the passage of this front.

The air temperatures will range from the mid to high 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 27 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 80F or 26C .
