At 12:36 am this morning, there was a 4.8 magnitude earthquake. The epicenter was located 69 miles NE of Roatan. 

Again, today, it will be mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of scattered, moderate rain showers and isolated, strong thunderstorms. Winds are still very light and variable in strength, and mostly easterly, at 2 to 10 mph or less. The seas are calm at 1 to 3 feet or less. A strong tropical wave is located along 82W longitude. Most of this area of disturbed weather is well to the north of us. Another tropical wave will reach here, the end of this week.

The air temperatures will be in the 80s to the mid 90s (F) or 27 to 32 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 84F or 28C to 29C . Visibility is generally 60 to 80 feet.

The Tropical Weather Outlook

An area of disturbed weather, associated with the tropical wave along 82W longitude, in the Western Caribbean Sea, is now given, 10% chance for further development in the next 48 hours.

Else where, tropical storm formation is not expected in the next 24 hours.
