Skies will be sunny with mid to high level cloudiness. Winds will be easterly, at 10 mph to 15 mph. The seas are choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Expect slightly stronger, winds and seas on Friday.
The next tropical wave, along 70W, will move into the western Caribbean on Saturday and Sunday. Model guidance, continues to forecast a better organized, more active monsoonal trough over parts of the mainland of Central America and SE Mexico, in the next few days. This means, heavy rainfall and life threatening mud slides, especially at higher elevations, on the mainland of Honduras. This trough for the most part, will probably stay W and S of the Bay Islands, resulting in little or no rain, in the near term future.
No tropical storm formation is expected for the next 24 hours.
