The air temperatures will be in the 80s to the mid 90s (F) or 27 to 32 (C). With the heat index, in the sun, out of the wind,it will feel like 100F or 38C. At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 86F or 28C to 30C . Visibility is generally 60 to 80 feet.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
Harvey has moved inland, as a TD. It is over SE Mexico and is expected to dissipate in the next day or so. Invest 97L, blossomed into TS Irene yesterday. Invest 98L is just W of the Cape Verde islands and has a 20% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone in the next 24 to 48 hours. (FYI: Invests are weather areas of interest to meteorologists). None of these systems currently pose a threat to us. However, since we are approaching the peak (Sept 10) of the hurricane season, all interests in the Bay Islands and on the north coast of Honduras should continue, to closely monitor the weather and prepare for future storms.
