Again today, skies will be mostly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Winds will be generally easterly at 5 to 15 mph or less. Seas will be 1 to 2 feet. The normal, daily, easterly trade winds are back in place. Look for the winds to decrease as the sun rises, then to start increasing about 3pm. Expect this current weather pattern to hold through the middle of next week..
The air temperatures will be in the 80s to the mid 90s (F) or 27 to 32 (C). With the heat index and little or no wind during the day, it will feel like 100 degrees plus. Divers should stay well hydrated.
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 86F or 28C to 30C . Visibility is generally 40 to 80 feet.

At 7am CDT, TS Lee was centered at 29.7N x 92.0W. This is about 50 miles W of Morgan City, LA. It is drifting NE at 3mph; with maximum sustained winds of 45mph. It is weakening as it makes landfall. Its current motion is slow, and erratic. It is expected to produce heavy rains and flooding.

TS Katia has restrengthened into a Cat 1 hurricane. It is located at 21.4 N latitude x 58.5 W longitude. This position is approximately 1600 miles ENE of us. It is moving NW at 12 mph. Maximum sustained winds are 70mph.

Neither of these systems currently pose a threat to us. However, since we are approaching the peak (Sept 10) of the hurricane season, all interests in the Bay Islands and on the north coast of Honduras should continue, to monitor the weather and prepare for future storms.
