Skies
will be partly sunny with mid to high level cloudiness. Winds will be
easterly at 10 mph to 25 mph. Seas will be 1 to 4 feet. Winds and
seas will build, beginning around 3pm each afternoon. Divers should
exercise caution when re- boarding the dive boats. Expect these
weather conditions to continue through Monday.
There
is a slight chance of intermittent showers and thunderstorms,
especially during the early morning and late night hours. A weak cold
front, in the northern Gulf of Mexico, has turned stationary and will
dissipate today.

The
air temperatures will be in the 80s to the mid 90s (F) or 27 to 32
(C). With the heat index, at times, it may feel like 100 plus
degrees. Everyone, especially, divers should be well hydrated.
At
depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 88F or 28C to 31C .
Visibility is generally 40 to 60 feet.

At
3 am, the center of Tropical Storm Ophelia was located near latitude
18.4 N, longitude 59.5 W. This about 1600 miles due ENE of us.
Ophelia is still moving toward the W near 12 mph. It is expected to
resume a WNW motion later today. Maximum sustained winds are 40 mph.
TD17
now is TS Phillipe. It is located in the far eastern tropical
Atlantic and is centered at 12.0N by 29.8W; moving WNW at 13 mph.
Maximum sustained winds are 45 mph. A turn to the NW and
strengthening into a hurricane is forecast by tomorrow.
Neither
of these systems currently pose a threat to us.
Else
where, tropical storm formation is not expected for the next 24
hours.
