Today,
it will be mostly sunny with some mid to high level clouds. There is
a slight chance for rain showers and thunderstorms, especially late
at night or very early in the morning. Seas will be at 1 to 3 feet in
height. Winds, will be mostly westerly at 5 to 15 mph or less.
Later
today, a cold front will move SE across the western Gulf of Mexico.
This cold front will push into the NW Caribbean on Wednesday and
reach from central Cuba to Gulf of Honduras by late Thursday. It will
stall here and begin to weaken through Saturday.
The
air temperatures will be in the high 70s mid to the mid 80s (F) or 25
to 29 (C).
At
depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 88F or 28C to 31C .
Visibility is generally 20 to 60 feet.

The
Tropical Weather Outlook
This
morning, 95L, is centered just north of the Yucatan Peninsula. It is
expected to move N to NE at 10 to 15 mph later today. This system has
a 20 percent chance of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48
hours. It does not pose a threat to us. This system is expected to
produce locally heavy rainfall...gusty winds...and possible severe
weather over the
Florida
Keys...the Florida peninsula...southern Georgia...and coastal
sections of the Carolinas over the next day or so.
Elsewhere,
tropical storm formation is not expected for the next 24 hours.
