Skies will be partly cloudy with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet in height. Winds will be mostly ENE at 10 to 15 mph. Winds are resuming their easterly trade wind flow pattern. The weak cold front which was forecast to move off the Texas coast yesterday, has slowed and is moving off the coast this morning. It will reach from SE Louisiana to near Tampico, Mexico, where it will stall out and dissipate over the weekend. The next cold front is forecast to move into the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday.
The air temperatures will be in the mid to high 70s (ºF) or 21ºC to 23ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are about 78ºF or 24ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 60 feet.
