Skies will be partly sunny with the possibility of scattered, intermittent heavy showers. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet in height. Winds will be N to NNE at 15 to 20 mph.
This morning, the cold front is on a line from NE Honduras to the Mona Passage. It is drifting slowly SE and has started to stall and dissipate. ( See Fig 3 ) Expect winds and seas to continue to diminish and skies will to begin to clear.
The next cold front is now forecast to enter the Gulf of Mexico late Saturday.
The air temperatures will range from the mid to high 70s (ºF) to the low to mid 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 29ºC. With the wind chill factor, it feels like the mid 60s (ºF)
Ocean water temperatures are about 78ºF or 24ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 60 feet.
