Today, again sunny with high level cloudiness. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible. The winds will be S to SE at 5 to 10 mph or less. Seas are moderate at 1 to 3 feet. Winds and seas may increase later.Tropical cyclone systems Lisa and Matthew have dissipated.The large low pressure system which has formed over the Western Caribbean is now given a 30% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours. It is expected to drift north over the next few days. (See Figs 1 & 2 below)
All interests in the Bay Islands should monitor the status of this system.The air temperatures will be in the mid to high 80s (F) or 27 - 29 (C).
