Skies will be sunny with mid to high level cloudiness. Winds will be easterly at 20 to25 mph. They will increase to 25 to 30 mph, this afternoon and evening. The seas are choppy at 2 to 4 feet or higher. Expect stronger winds and higher seas tomorrow.
The leading edge of the tropical wave, passed over us late yesterday and is well to the West, this morning,
( See Fig 5 ). An active monsoonal trough persists over much of Central America, ( See Fig 4 ). Heavy rainfall, especially at higher elevations, on the main land, is possible. This rainfall, may create life threatening flash floods and mudslides. From satellite imagery, ( See Figs 5 & 6 ), it appears most of this rain will remain south of the Bay Islands
Elsewhere, tropical storm formation is not expected for the next 24 hours.
