Again, the weather remains essentially unchanged. Skies will be sunny, with mid to high level cloudiness. Today, winds will be moderate, at 15 mph to 20 mph. It will vary in direction from NE to SE. The seas are relatively calm at 2 to 4 feet in height or less. Expect winds and seas to increase beginning Monday evening.

Else where, tropical storm formation is not expected in the next 24 hours.


Near Term Outlook

The monsoon trough is expected to shift northward where it is forecast to extend across southern Mexico and Central America by Wednesday. Then becoming considerably stronger by the beginning of next week  In response to this, abundant tropical moisture will advect into Central America generating areas of heavy rainfall and possible mudslides over portions of Central America and southern Mexico, especially for the second half of the week. For now, the USA NWS will continue monitoring medium range forecast models for consistency on this possible scenario.

At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 84F or 28C to 29C . Visibility is generally 60 to 80 feet.
