NW Caribbean Sea

Skies will be mostly cloudy with intermittent showers and thunderstorms. Today, winds will be moderate and easterly, at 15 mph to 20 mph. The seas are relatively calm at 2 to 4 feet in height or less. Winds and seas maybe higher in areas of squalls. Expect winds and seas to increase this evening.
A tropical wave in the central Caribbean is moving W. It will reach the W Caribbean today. Then Central America and the far NW Caribbean tonight. It will be over us through Tuesday. ( See Fig 6 )
Model guidance, still indicates that the monsoon trough will begin to lift north, later in the week, across southern Mexico and the north central Caribbean. This will concentrate shower activity over these areas.

Else where, tropical storm formation is not expected in the next 24 hours.
