September 14, 2011
Skies
will remain mostly cloudy, as the remnants of the tropical wave are
still over us. High pressure, to the north of us, in the Gulf of
Mexico, will continue to keep this system in place. Expect gradual
clearing later in the day. There is a continuing chance for
intermittent rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. Winds will
be lighter than yesterday, at 5 mph or less. Seas will be calm at 1
to 2 feet.
The
air temperatures will be in the 80s to the mid 90s (F) or 27 to 32
(C). Because of the lack of wind, at times, it may feel like 100 plus
degrees. Everyone, especially, divers should be well hydrated.
At
depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 88F or 28C to 31C .
Visibility is generally 40 to 60 feet.
