Friday November 25, 2011
Again today, skies will be sunny with mid to high level clouds. Seas will be 1 to 3 feet in height. Winds will be N to NNW at 5 mph to 10 mph or less. There is a slight chance of rain.
This morning, the cold front is still on a line from the Florida Straits to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico. This front is nearly stationary and continues to dissipate. ( See Fig. 2 ) 
A new, strong cold front will move off the Texas coast tomorrow evening. It will move through the Yucatan channel into the NW Caribbean Sunday night. This front will reach from central Cuba to eastern Honduras Monday night and from E Cuba to the far SW Caribbean by Tuesday night. Gale conditions are expected behind this front in the SW Gulf of Mexico late Saturday night into Sunday.
The air temperatures will be in the mid to high 70s (ºF) to the low to mid 80s or 22ºC to 25ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are about 82ºF to 88ºF or 28ºC to 31ºC . Visibility is generally 20 to 60 feet.
