Again today, skies will be cloudy with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas will be 1 to 4 feet in height. Winds will be strong and mostly WNW at 20 to 25 mph. This afternoon winds will decrease to 10 to 15 mph and begin to shift to the NE as the cooler, high pressure air to the north, shifts east and retreats. The next cold front will move off the Texas coast on Thursday, where it will weaken and stall in the Gulf of Mexico.
The air temperatures will be in the mid to high 70s (ºF) or 21ºC to 23ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are about 82ºF or 28ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 60 feet or higher.
