Today, skies will be cloudy with a chance of intermittent rain. Seas will be 1 to 4 feet in height. Winds will be light, variable and mostly NW to NE at 5 to 10 mph or less. This morning, a cold front reaches from the Florida Panhandle to the eastern Bay of Campeche. Gale force winds are expected behind the front in the SW Gulf of Mexico today. This cold front will move into the Yucatan Channel tonight. The front will stall and dissipate over the Western Caribbean through Friday.
The air temperatures will be in the mid to high 70s (ºF) or 21ºC to 23ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are about 82ºF or 28ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 60 feet or higher.
