Skies will be partly sunny with mid to high level clouds. There is a slight chance for scattered showers. Seas will be choppy to rough at 2 to 4 feet in height. Winds will be mostly E to ENE at 10 to 20 mph.
The strong cold front, approaching the Gulf Coast of the USA, has slowed down. It is now forecast to move off the Texas coast later today and will enter the NW Caribbean Sea on Monday. Expect the easterly trade winds to moderate with the approach and passage of the front. Look for rain and strong northerly winds behind and along the front. See Figs. 2 and 3.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the low to mid 80s (F) or 21ºC to 29ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are about 78ºF or 24ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 60 feet.
