Skies will be sunny with increasing cloudiness. There is a chance of scattered showers later today and tonight. Seas will be 1 to 3 feet in height. Winds will be light and variable, ESE to ENE in direction at 1 to 15 mph. Winds and seas will continue to diminish as the cold front approaches this area.
This morning the cold front was on a line from Florida Panhandle to the N Central Yucatan peninsula . (See Fig 3) This weakening cold front will enter the NW Caribbean Sea tonight and Thursday. Then slowly dissipate through Friday. A stronger cold front will enter the NW Caribbean Saturday, followed by building high pressure.
The air temperatures will range from the mid to high 70s (ºF) to the low to mid 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 29ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are about 78ºF or 24ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 60 feet.
