Again, the weather today is a replay of yesterday's. Skies will be mostly sunny with mid to high level clouds. There is a very slight chance of early morning or late evening squalls and thunderstorms. While Hurricane Irene is not directly impacting the Caribbean...its large light to moderate cyclonic flow will cover the entire basin through Friday.. Winds will continue to be moderate to light at 5 to 10 mph or less. They will be highly variable in direction. Seas will be calm at 1 to 3 feet. Expect these weather conditions to hold through this weekend.
The air temperatures will be in the 80s to the mid 90s (F) or 27 to 32 (C). In the sun, without the east winds, it will feel like 100 degrees plus. At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 82F to 86F or 28C to 30C . Visibility is generally 60 to 80 feet.
